About the SCWW Team
We are a community of students that have been on a life-long journey to know thyself and why we are here. As a collective we have engaged in ceremony, teacher trainings, practice, talking sticks, etc. and have formed an understanding that – we are not here to teach – we are here to facilitate and channel the ancient knowledge that is needed to be heard today in the contemporary way of speech and story.
We cannot teach you, but rather help you come to your own understanding of self by sharing the teachings we have been blessed to receive, creating experiences that will help you embody that which is aching to reveal itself to you, and provide a space to talk, reflect and learn through our shared stories.
Laurie Higgins-Kerley has been on a path of holistic healing and study since 2000. Her training includes shamanic healing ways and ceremonies centered around the medicine wheel or sacred hoop, spiritual activation, and ascension techniques from the Dolphin Star Temple, Kundalini yoga, and Equine Facilitated Learning and Coaching. Inspired by her own healing with horses after the loss of her husband in 2008, Laurie founded the non-profit organization, Dove Creek Equine Rescue in 2012, where they rescue, rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome horses who have been abused, neglected, or surrendered.
Seeing the profound effect horses had on the staff and volunteers in their journey back to health, Laurie wanted to create a program focusing on the healing partnership between horses and humans. She created a multi-layered program combining her paths of study and training - Equine Assisted Coaching, shamanism, and yoga - offering her clients a powerful heart-centered approach to moving forward through challenges in life. Laurie has facilitated, hosted, and led workshops on these healing ways as well as co-led drumming circles for more than 20 years.
Dreams Through Waters is a dynamic Healer and Artist who combines her lifelong passion and decades of experience in creating art with her study and mastery of the healing arts. She specializes in a number of modalities that she combines into a unique blend to help her clients to heal unresolved issues in the mind, body, and spirit, allowing them to access higher states of well-being, consciousness, and enlightenment.
Sacred Waters is a practicing physician in Texas and expanded her personal healing and knowledge by attending The 13 Healing Moons Mystery School in 2004. She creatively weaves the ancient and mystical nature-based teachings, Pleiadian Lightwork teachings, and the transformative power of ceremony including the Sweat Lodge Ceremony. She continues to enjoy the journey of assisting women in her practice through their path.
Jill Van Buren has been on the Medicine Path since 1998, gratefully discovering these ancient nature-based ways and teachings after experiencing a crisis of faith and identity. Using the keys of the Medicine Wheel and the insights offered by her circle of Animal Totem allies, along with many other beautiful and useful Medicine Tools, she has consciously woven ceremonies with energy healing and clearing techniques from the Dolphin Star Temple in her personal practice and with clients. She works in the film industry in Chicago balancing and stabilizing the fast paced choreography of TV commercial production with humor and heart.
Jennifer Landram was introduced to the Medicine Wheel and Sun Bear’s animal totem teachings in 2010 and has continued to study and apply these teachings ever since. These tools have forever impacted her perspective, accelerated her self-growth, and deepened her Spiritual connection. She has been a holistic nutritionist and alternative medicine practitioner since 2006 and incorporates many modalities including shamanism, yoga, meditation, reiki, quantum biofeedback, and Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) into her offerings. Jennifer has had a lifelong relationship with horses and in 2022 joined the Led by Horses team as a Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) coach.
Joella Autorino is a business coach and consultant that has helped launch more than 200 businesses, products and services, including 9 of her own, generating more than $1.8 billion in collective revenue to date. As an apprentice on the medicine path, yogi, martial artist, intuitive healer and empowerment coach she harnesses her experiences and expertise to embolden her clients with practical tools that propel them in their personal and business mastery.
Her programs are designed to support people in recognizing their innate potential, the power of their past experiences, and how to leverage the quantum which provides the foundational tools to becoming active creators of their life.
